HOW MUCH WILL YOU RISK FOR MOTHERHOOD?

Noah the Kid, my son, wanted freedom [he was 9 years old when he made this request], I gave him presence.

My bosses at the time wanted me to be in the office to pour their water, I wanted to be at the school gate when school finished @ 3pm twice a week to pick up my child. 

They offered a 5 day week, 9:30 to 16:30, and called it a compromise.

I resigned on the spot.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton was a leader of the women's rights movement in the U.S. during the mid-to late-1800s. She was the main force behind the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention, the first convention to be called for the sole purpose of discussing women's rights, and was the primary author of its Declaration of Sentiments. She was also active in other social reform activities, especially abolitionism.
